Jim Ratliff Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 I run Alfred on multiple personal accounts on the same Mac. I deliberately elect "NO" to "Launch Alfred at login." (I want to wait till any changes in Alfred preferences have had time to sync after logging into the account before I launch Alfred. I then launch Alfred, among other apps with synced preferences, in a script that I launch after syncing is completed.) After each update to Alfred, however, Alfred is set to "Launch Alfred at login," contrary to my desired preferences. At least in the account I'm in when I perform the update, I am shown the Preferences window after the update and can reverse the effect of this bug. However, when I log into other accounts, Alfred is launched before the sync completes and there's nothing I can do about that. Bottom line: Alfred updates should respect the user's previously expressed desires about the state of the "Launch Alfred at login" setting.
Vero Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 Hi @Jim Ratliff, welcome to the forum and apologies for the slow reply to your post! I'd be interested to hear why you're choosing to manually launch Alfred after login; Have you previously experienced any issues with syncing your Alfred preferences, causing you to choose to not launch Alfred at login? Cheers, Vero
