Alfred won't search files on external hard drive, tried many ways but won't work.Help~

Alfred is great but there is one thing that keeps bugging me.Alfred won't search files on external hard drive.

i tried the way most ppl say on the website, add the hard drive disk to the Alfred search scope, but it's still not working. files on my hard drive disk won't show in the results. does anyone know how to solve this issue?

@gywen2013 You'll need to ensure that macOS is indexing the external drive, as Alfred relies on the macOS metadata to provide you with results.

 

At that point, adding the drive to your search scope (or preferably, for Powerpack users, creating a File Filter workflow to search the external drive specifically) will allow you to see results from the external drive
