Alfred doesn't see Simulator app

Recommended Posts

installed Alfred on a 10.13 machine a few days ago and it doesn't see Simulator app.

I tried to reinstall Alfred, clear Alfred cache multiple times, rebuild Spotlight index. No luck.

It works fine on the other machines out of the box (as it always used to do).

Simulator folder is added to Alfred's paths.

What could be wrong here? ?

@nik1 Welcome to the forum :)

Does Spotlight find the file? If so, is the app itself stored in the Applications folder (not just an alias of it)?

Make sure you've followed the steps on the troubleshooting page (https://www.alfredapp.com/help/troubleshooting/indexing/), as this almost always provides a solution.

If the issue isn't resolved, please install the Alfred Metadata Tool:

https://cachefly.alfredapp.com/tools/AlfredMetadataTool_v1.1.zip

Drag the app in, and paste the results so that we can take a further look.

Cheers,
Vero

@Alexander As with the user above, please download and install the Alfred metadata tool, drag the app in there and paste the results so that we can see what information macOS is providing about the app.

I've deleted your second thread about this as it didn't add any useful additional information. You can keep your replies in this thread for ease of tracking responses. :)

Cheers,
Vero
