Jasondm007 Posted February 18, 2019 Posted February 18, 2019 (edited) Does anyone know how to create an account-specific URL for Google Drive? In the past, my Google Drive-related Alfred workflows relied on the following paths: Open Drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/account@gmail.com Search Drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/account@gmail.com/search?q={query} However, this approach seems to have stopped working a few weeks ago (at least, that's when I noticed it). Now, I just receive an error indicating that the URL was not found on the server. To be clear, you can still open and search Google Drive by using the number associated with the account - numbered from from zero and up based on the order in which you've logged in to them (e.g., https://drive.google.com/drive/u/2). However, I've never been a big fan of this approach because if you log in to your accounts in a different order, then the associated account numbers in the URL will change. For example, https://drive.google.com/drive/u/2 may become https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0. Oddly enough, this account-specific approach still seems to work for gmail. So, for example, the following paths still seem to work fine: Open Gmail: https://mail.google.com/mail/u/account@gmail.com Search Gmail: https://mail.google.com/mail/u/account@gmail.com/search?q={query} Are others noticing the same problem? I've tried logging in and out several times to make sure that I'm properly signed in to everything. I've also tried different browsers, but the problem with Google Drive appears to persist. I couldn't find much about this issue posted in this forum or others - like Stack Exchange - but I was hoping that someone with similar workflows might have some advice (or knowledge of whether Google is changing its approach). Thanks for any help you can lend! Edited February 18, 2019 by Jasondm007 typo
