Is it possible to launch the default browser with "Launch Apps" workflow?

I have a hotkey to launch the browser.

Instead of explicitly launching chrome or safari, is it possible to just launch the Mac default browser?

Your simple option is to open a URL, which will be sent to your default browser. If you just want to open the browser without opening a URL, you’ll need to install something like duti with Homebrew or mess around with LSCopyDefaultApplicationURLforURL() to discover the default browser.
