HarryH Posted January 19, 2021 Posted January 19, 2021 I do a lot of video editing, and I would like to automate the copying of video's when I attach the SD-card tot the card reader. Is this possible? Ideally, I'd like the workflow to start when I connect the SD card, and then copy all files from a certain directory to a directory on my external harddrive. Less optimal but equially acceptable would be a command or hotkey to achieve the same thing after I insert the card. Any tips?

Is this possible? Nope, afraid not. By design, Alfred only responds to user actions, not system events. You can certainly create a command or hotkey to run a script that copies your files off the SD card, but Alfred is the wrong tool for anything you want to happen "automatically". HarryH 1
