gandalfi
Hello, I've been using Quicksilver since almost the beginning and I've been looking at different tools to replace QS. I know I can make a screenshot go to the clipboard OR save the file via a command line script but I cannot see any workflows here that let you do both at the same time. Maybe I just need to be better at the command line, idk. Anyway that seems about the last piece of the QS->Alfred puzzle for me. Any help? P.S. I suppose I could ask about showing the bezel when you change the system volume settings too. Link to comment
vitor
There you go. The trick is to first save it as a file then read it as image data into the clipboard. One could also do the reverse. I don’t know what you’re asking there. giovanni 1 Link to comment

When you change the volume/brightness using the built in keyboard shortcuts, it shows you a modal window that pops up in the middle of the screen showing you what your volume/brightness settings are. Using an Alfred system hotkey, you don't get to see this, so it's hard to tell what your volume is before you start playing something. Link to comment
vitor
I doubt that’s possible. I have never seen a tool which changes the system volume and shows that indicator. If you find a command-line utility or command which does it, we can help you integrate it. Link to comment
