workflow to open preferences in current app

Hello!

 

I was trying my hand at creating a workflow that would open the preferences of the active app. For example, instead of typeing command+, I type "op" in the search bar. I tied a keyword to a hot key, but I don't think that's it.

 

I thought this would be simple, but I am missing something. Anyone have a thought?

A Hotkey is an input. You press the Hotkey and it does something in the Workflow. What you’re looking for is the Dispatch Key Combo Output.
