The action to "Reveal in Finder" doesn't work in Alfred 5.0.5 Build 2096

This may not have just been introduced, but when I attempt to "Reveal in Finder" by holding ⌘ when I have an app selected, I get this error:

The “Show in Finder” service could not be used because the “Finder” application could not be opened.

Try reinstalling “Finder.”

 

I'm on macOS Ventura 13.0 (22A380).

It could be that I'm experiencing system instability.

Ventura will inevitably have some growing pains as it's brand new, and the error messages you're showing indicate the issue lies with Finder quirking out. Have you tried restarting your Mac and seeing if it happens more than once?

 

I've tested the Reveal in Finder action on our Ventura machine and it's working as expected.

Yup — restarted and it's fine now! Carry on! 

 

I will point out that the action in Alfred is called "Reveal in Finder" but the service is called "Show in Finder". Very very minor though! 😉
