Alfred not finding one particular App

Recommended Posts

What is the output when you run file troubleshooting on the relevant app file? (Go to Alfred Preferences and click on Help in the left column then choose Troubleshooting and run File Search troubleshooting.)

It would be helpful to copy the output for that file and paste it into a new post here.

I think that, for some reason, the application appears to be in a rather unorthodox location. No doubt if you do what is recommended:

Quote

Try resetting Alfred's Preferences > Features > Default Results > Search Scope > Reset... to "Reset to Full Disk"

you will be able to find the application in Alfred.

As an alternative to that (which may clutter your Alfred searches with results you don't wish to see) you could try adding /System/Volumes/Data/Applications/ to Alfred's search scope (under Alfred Preferences → Features → Default Results and then Search Scope:).

Hi Stephen, thanks for your help, for some reason the Mac OS Application library was not in my search scope but ironically every other application was visible which is why I thought there was something else wrong. Anyway it is working now, thanks again.
