The script searches youtube and returns the embed code for the first results and places this inside the alfred results window. So you get the youtube video directly in alfred. I think such a thing would be great. Could also be used for maps, etc. Link to comment
Vero Posted January 13, 2013 Share Posted January 13, 2013 Currently, Alfred doesn't allow custom UIs like playing a YouTube video or showing a map in-line. That being said, if you used a script to return a list of YouTube videos for your search, you could then choose one and have it open in your preferred browser. Link to comment

Another idea would be to have quick look support for the result links so that we can still control in alfred, but look at the youtube video (or any other link) at the same time. Link to comment
