I thought it would be useful to add instant word translation right into search field, like in Launcher (from Nulana).

Otherwise i should open spotlight, type word, find stroke, open dictionary app and all this is just wasting time.

I thought it would be useful to add instant word translation right into search field, like in Launcher (from Nulana).

Otherwise i should open spotlight, type word, find stroke, open dictionary app and all this is just wasting time.

 

You can type "translate" followed by the phrase or page URL you want to translate and hit return. This brings up Google Translate with your defaults (so if you've already said you want to translate, let's say Turkish to English, it'll already be set for that). You can also create custom searches for specific languages.

By saying instant, i mean instant without any additional words or internet use. enter for open dictionary.app; cmd+enter for copy text
