gwardlaw334 Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Hi, I just got Remote and I'm reading what you can do. One thing I wanted to do with some kind of app is to use my Ipad as a second monitor for my MBP 13" Retina. Can you do this with Remote or is there another app or another way? Greg
tone Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Hi gwardlaw334, Alfred Remote won't do this for you. A google search for "ipad secondary monitor" brings up lots of apps. I've not tried any so can't recommend anything. Good luck!

gwardlaw334 Posted January 30, 2015 Author Posted January 30, 2015 Duet Display. It requires a USB connection but performance is much better than the wifi/bluetooth alternatives. Thank you very much. I am relatively new to Mac's (about 1 yr.). I was a Windows Network Admin (job security ☺) Now, I have the iphone, ipad, and MBP with Linux Desktop.
gwardlaw334 Posted January 31, 2015 Author Posted January 31, 2015 I purchased Duet and it works really well. One other thing I need is something new called "Mountie" that physically connects your iphone or ipad to an imac or macbook pro. It looks kind of like a duel sided clamp with rubber to protect the screen Anyone seen these?
