Alfred not working

In the search field, even a simple request like:

 

2*2

 

will not return any results,

neither will a simple request like "google"  "word", all that happens is the typed word is highlighted in blue.

However, if I go in and deactivate my power pack, recently purchased it works fine.

When typing 2*2, Alfred should return 4, as typing a number query turns Alfred into a calculator (whether or not your Powerpack is active). What result do you see below when typing 2*2?

 

I'm sure that this isn't a bug, but there isn't quite enough information in your post to allow me to work out what could be happening. With your Powerpack activated, could you let me know if you have any workflows you've imported or created in your Workflows preferences?

 

I'll move this to Discussion & Help and keep an eye on your replies so that we can get you up and running with your Powerpack as soon as possible

it doesn't turn into a calculator, if i hit return after typing 2*2, the window just disappears.

Im trying to post a screenshot taken by Grab on the mac, put Alfred won't let me post the image extension used on the file.
