Snippets won't Expand

Hi there,

 

I just bought Alfred mainly for the snippets function, and while I was sad to find out that they don't actually get copied over to iOS, I might stick with the app as it's sexy and handy on Mac.

 

However, auto-expand doesn't seem to work.

 

1. The expansion in the Security Settings of MacOS is installed.

2. I have not remapped CMD + V

3. I have activated Auto-Expand for the snippets I'm trying to test.

4. I have not excluded the app I'm testing this in (Safari).

5. I don't get a secure input warning. 

6. I have tested mid text expansion, neither are working.

Hi @JonathanMarc Welcome to the forum

 

Could you take a look at the steps listed on the Snippets troubleshooting page, and follow them carefully? It will take you through the steps to ensure that expansion is correctly set up on your Mac. Take a look at other apps in your Accessibility preferences, as well, as these may be interfering with Alfred's ability to recognise your keypresses or paste.
