  1. How do I make my chosen Alfred shortcuts override those default shortcuts in specific apps **without manually having to change every single unwanted shortcut**? Example: I have set CMD + SHFT + C as an Alfred shortcut / hotkey for pandoc conversion. But in a lot of other apps it opens the colors palette and in Chrome it opens the developer tools (even though the menu said it was set to something else, which I've also manually changed, yet it clearly had numerous shortcuts not listed in the Chrome menu). Thanks, in advance!
  2. I live in Turkey which is where my Alfred location is set to which is great. But as a British citizen I'm also often searching Amazon UK when shopping for UK gifts, etc. Any easy way to do this for a non-technical person? Thanks very much!
  3. No worries at all, you’re helping! Thanks very much for these suggestions. I’ll have a go at them over the next 24 hours.
  4. Hitting right arrow does show actions for actual names of files for me, just not for the nicknames.
  5. Yes I've read that. The issue is that with nicknames the action options don't come up when I hit the right arrow, even though that's definitely the correct key (see screenshot of my settings).
  6. Thanks very much deanishe. I've narrowed down what my issue is: it's just with nicknames. Rather than giving me all the default action options, my very basic workflow means with those all I can do is launch them (I used Alfred's "Launch file group from keyword" from their blog, where you "Connect a Keyword Input to a Launch Apps/Files Action".https://www.alfredapp.com/blog/tips-and-tricks/give-files-nicknames-to-find-them-faster/ Aside from creating another workflow (which I have done while I wait a better solution), is there some other way I can set up nicknames so that each time I have other action options when I type their keyword in? Better yet, any way for nicknames to be treated as the name of the files themselves and so by default get access to the full actions list?
  7. I know that you can start an alfred command with 'find' followed by the file/app name and it will reveal it in finder. But how do you make it an option after having typed the file or app name in the Alfred box without prefixing it with 'find'? So for example, in Alfred command I type 'WhatsApp', and then I can perform an action to open this in Finder even though I didn't start the command with find.
  8. I wrote this to Vitor elsewhere but thought it's probably better putting this in this thread: Thanks *so* much for work on this workflow, it's fantastic! Question one: which would improve it even more for me: is it possible to show the Critics Consensus text as well inline, OR if not, then when hitting return/enter after having selected the movie is it possible to open the selected movie's page on RT rather than a search page?So having selected it in Alfred and hit enter on RT, it would open this page rather than this one. Question two: I'm not getting any preview of anything when I press shift at any point in the process. I'm on MacOS - any ideas what I need to change?
  9. Thanks for your welcome @vitor! And thanks *so* much for work on this workflow, it's fantastic! 10. Hello! I've just joined the Alfred family and paid for lifetime access. Is anybody able to quickly make a simple .alfredworkflow file to get inline suggestions for Rotten Tomatoes or let me know a step-by-step process to do so? Thanks so much!
