  1. I use Alfred's file name search all the time, probably more than any other feature. Sometimes the item I'm looking for doesn't show up among the first 9 items that Alfred finds. This happens particularly if I want to open a folder that contains lots of similarly-named files. So if I want to open a folder called Example that contains file Example 1, Example 2, Example 3 and so forth, Alfred may show me 9 individual files but not the folder. Of course I can open the folder with a bit of conning arrow key use but it would be nice to have some sort of "end" key so I could search for "Example|", say, and not be offered a bunch of Example* files. Any way to do this?
  2. Perfect, thanks! I was missing the keyword action in trying to get it to work.

    Remember the last typed parameter

Thanks Vero, that's almost exactly what I was looking for. For some reason I had in mind that there was a history feature only for file searches. Maybe it was that way in release 1.
  4. Sometimes I find that I want to redo a built-in or custom search using the same parameter. For example I may search IMDB and then decide I'd like search Wikipedia for the exact same thing. It would be great to have a user-defined string or meta character that meant "same as before". For example I could type CMD/Space imdb titanic and then later CMD/Space wiki @, where I'd set @ as the "same again" string.
  5. It would be great to be able to start a web search from a hotkey. For example, rather than "cmd/space wiki xyz" or "cmd/space imdb zyx"I could just type "F1 xyz" or F2 "zyx". This would be even more powerful if combined with the ability to remember the last typed parameter (q.v.)

Show Contact Address in Apple Maps

David, Why not add a keyword input to this workflow so it serves as both a target for the Contacts action and as a search in its own right? I already made this trivial change in my copy.

    Optional view of Contact Information

Thanks Andrew. Cmd-o is less elegant but it gets the job done.
  8. Works nicely, thanks for the quick reply.
  9. In V1 if I typed the name of a contact then I could use the right arrow key to get a list of alternative actions. Though I usually want to open the contact information in Alfred, sometimes it is convenient to use this to open it in the Contact application (viz. to edit the contact information). I don't seem to be able to do this any more in V2, the right arrow key is disabled on a contact entry. Can we please have it back?
  10. It would be really useful to be able to log in to a web page using its 1Click bookmark from within a workflow. Note that I'm NOT asking for any new integration to mess with the logins and passwords -- others have requested this and you've already rejected it (quite rightly, in my view). All I need is a workflow action similar to the URL action but using the name of a 1Click Bookmark. This is exactly what I can ask Alfred to do from the Alfred Window, I'd just like the same capability within a workflow. Note that it's not possible to do this using the existing scripting commands since 1P is not scriptable: only Alfred knows the secret handshake!
