tonyska
Hello, When using Adobe InDesign CC, the key command Command Option C overrides InDesign's hotkey and brings up Alfred's snippets. I have tried clearing the hotkey in Alfred, I have tried changing the hotkey in Alfred, but it does not make a difference. I have also read the other forum replies on this matter but they don't have a solution that works. Has anyone had any success on this and/or is there a solution? Thank you! Tony Link to comment
Vero
Hi @tonyska You can change this hotkey in Alfred's Features > Clipboard preferences, as this is the hotkey for the Clipboard Viewer. Either remove the hotkey by selecting the box and pressing backspace if you don't use the Clipboard History feature, or as it's a great feature I think everyone should be using, simply change the hotkey to another combo like Cmd + Option + V. JoeWithCoffee
Hey there, just wanted to know what to do if I had deleted the key binding and the snippet popup will appear anyway? I design also with InDesign and it's really annoying to quit alfred for every task in InDesign and to reopen it afterwards. My current settings are these: Can anybody help me out? Link to comment
deanishe
Hi @JoeWithCoffee, welcome to the forum. 15 minutes ago, JoeWithCoffee said: just wanted to know what to do if I had deleted the key binding and the snippet popup will appear anyway? Did you delete the right binding? There's the Snippet Viewer and the Clipboard History Viewer. Link to comment
JoeWithCoffee
Hey @deanishe, thank you very much! It's nice to be here. Oh man you saved me - that's it. I missed the removal of the shortcut in the Clipboard History Viewer. Now it works perfectly. Thanks so much! Have a nice day! Link to comment
