solved [SOLVED] Issue with search in Box Drive

So I recently swapped computers and noticed Box Drive has changed their application functionality, (moving from a folder to a virtual piece of "attached volume". For what ever reason this has caused an issue with the depth at which I can search, even using Dynamic file search.

It's a deficiency with Box. Google Drive File Stream is also a virtual volume and has similar issues.

 

Alfred uses the same search index as Spotlight, and it's up to the Box/Google developers to ensure that the virtual volumes their apps create are properly indexed, or you won't be able to search them with Spotlight or Alfred.

 

I suggest you add your voice to the corresponding thread on the Box forum. This is something only Box can fix.
