PaulAmosKreiner
sometimes when i use the calculator i need to insert parentheses after i started typing, usually one at the beginning of the term and one at the end. spotlight enables system-default navigation with the option-key, just like in any other system-default text field: pressing the option-key + arrow-up takes the cursor to the beginning, arrow-down to the end. alfred does not use this but i don't now why not since there does not seem to be any other behavior standing in the way. vitor
Hello @PaulAmosKreiner, This works fine for me. You might want to check if you don’t have anything that’s causing a conflict with that shortcut. Also check if ⌘← and ⌘→ are working (they do the same).
PaulAmosKreiner
cmd + arrow works for me, thanks for that! do you have something specific in mind with regard to a possible cause of conflict? Alfred uses ⌥↑ and ⌥↓ for its File Buffer by default (see Alfred Preferences > Features > File Search > Buffer). You can change it to use ⇧⌥ as a modifier instead.
