I wanna download the latest update for alfred but cachefly.alfredapp.com DNS could not be found.

Update is saying there is update available but cannot update since DNS cannot be found

I tried also downloading on the main page

https://cachefly.alfredapp.com/Alfred_4.6_1266.dmg

Same scenario DNS could not be found.

I hope this issue would be fix so i can update to lastest version.

@hugoforbes88 Welcome to the forum :)

Cachefly is the Content Delivery Network we use, so you may either have hit a CDN node that is temporarily unavailable (very rare these days), you may have something on your Mac restricting your connection (Little Snitch, browser plugin or proxy settings) or you may be on a restricted network (e.g. some corporate networks, coffee shops, etc limit their users).

If the issue persists, drop us an email on info@ and I'll take a further look.

Cheers,
Vero

Im on my home  network,

dont know what is the issue, at first till i remember laravel valet

that messes up with dns,

this has the same effect on other domains,

but very rare occasion,

i remember it, coz i have faced this issue in my other machine (archlinux), but not on your domain.

that issue with laravel valet, where i temporarily disable it

and shut down dns masq and nginx

i also  change dns to use google dns server

8.8.8.8

it fix issue...

I guess this issue , is a rare case, but i think majority of laravel developers

that is using alfred may faced this issue

so i posted the fix
