buggzilla
I'm running MacOS Monterey 12.1 and the the latest Alfred release. I'm trying to wean myself off of TextExpander and use Snippets in Alfred instead. So far, it works great in all my other programs and apps. But when I bring up the quick entry window of Alfred and try to use a Snippet therein, it doesn't work. (Edit: I think the "quick entry window" is actually called the "global hotkey" so something, if that helps.) I.e., I have the hot key Opt+Spacebar to bring up the quick entry dialog box on my screen. Snippets don't seem to work within that window. What am I doing wrong? My workflows require this. For now, my workaround is to use Spotlight to enter the Snippet and run it, but I'd sure like to be able to use Alfred instead. Help! Really appreciate it. It works great now. Cheers! dfay
