A small dot indicator for running apps

It would be good to have a small dot indicator for currently running apps underneath the search results.

For example, if I search for mail app, if it is running, it would be better to have a dot beneath to show its running status.

Like what macos have in the dock: 

Also, an option to turn the dot indicator on and off would be nice.

Could you expand on your use case? How, in practice, would this be useful to you? Adding a running indicator necessarily adds a delay, which means slower results.

 

If you want to get running apps, there’s an object for that.
