"Unable to save 'local.hotkey.default' with value '{" error after restoring from a timemachine backup

Recommended Posts

I have recently completed a full system reinstall and restored the data from a time machine backup. Everything seems to be working fine, except for Alfred. When attempting to reset the Alfred toggle hotkey, an error message pops up stating, "Unable to save 'local.hotkey.default' with value."

Additionally, there are other features that are not functioning correctly, such as the remote module. It displays the error message, "Unable to save remote page index data. Please restart Alfred Preferences and try again."

I suspect there might be an issue with my preference file, but since it is synced with iCloud, I am unsure about what could be causing the problem and how to resolve it.

Would it be advisable to delete the Alfred.alfredpreferences file?
