Creating a snippet workflow that inputs variable text within the snippet

I am brand new to Alfred Workflows, having just paid for the PowerPack today. I am having a hard time figuring out how to accomplish this.

 

I'd like to type something like "250.gp" and have it come out as

<font color="gold">250gp</font>

The "250" in this string would be different every time I use this expansion. Is this possible, or will I need to do it a different way, by putting the cursor in the middle of the string and typing the number I want?

Yes, you either have the snippet place the cursor in the right place then type the number (which is effectively the same in the reverse order) or use something like a Keyword Input connected to a Copy to Clipboard Output to paste it.
