solved git syncing?

The company I work for was recently taken over by another company, for whom things are more restricted, thus it doesn't seem that I can use Dropbox for syncing alfred prefs anymore. I'm setting things up using a private gitlab account, but wanted to see if there are any gotchas with regards to syncing preferences using a git repo. (other than having to push/pull any changes)

As long as the right files and folders end up fully downloaded in the right locations (Alfred.alfredprefences is a bundle), I’m not seeing any reason why it wouldn’t work.

Thanks! I was a little concerned because iCloud drive seems to still be available at work, but the Alfred app warned against using iCloud drive for some reason...

Historically iCloud Drive has been unreliable (not for Alfred, but in general), hence the warning. But there are people who use it without any issue. Just be aware of that and make sure settings are always available offline if you do.
