heyJoeCampbell Posted December 23, 2023 Posted December 23, 2023 This would make it easier to determine the web destination. The feature could be extended in the future to display icons for file types and a dynamic webpage screenshot by way of an API.
vitor Posted December 23, 2023 Posted December 23, 2023 You can press ⇧ or ⌘Y to see a Quick Look preview of the URL. You can then press ↓ and ↑ to continue to navigate through the other items with previews, including seeing longer texts and images. Alan He 1
heyJoeCampbell Posted December 27, 2023 Author Posted December 27, 2023 Thanks @vitor I was unaware of this feature. Now knowing about this feature I propose the following improvements: Offer the ability to copy (⌘C) contents onto the clipboard while in Preview Mode Improve rendering speed for entering & exiting Preview Mode (feels laggy)
vitor Posted December 27, 2023 Posted December 27, 2023 That’s not a preview mode, but literally Quick Look. Any improvements to it have to be done on Apple’s side. Showing a website is always going to have some delay because of network requests.
