steve2234
I only use Alfred as a launcher and, as such, have my application and applications/settap folder selected in Alfred under search scope, but some of the apps in the Setapp folder are not found (some are). Do you have any suggestions? MacStudioSonomoa Alfred 5.5 so everything up to date. Link to comment
Stephen_C
Welcome to the forum. Start by working through all of the suggestions on this Alfred help page: Troubleshooting File Indexing Issues. If that does not produce a solution for you please choose one of the files Alfred cannot find, run Alfred's built in troubleshooting (as indicated on that page) and post the results here. Stephen_C
Please then do as I requested in the last paragraph of my previous post. Stephen Link to comment

Vero
@steve2234 If it's hanging at the MDQuery stage, then there's a fundamental issue with the underlying macOS metadata server. When you reindexed, did you do the full "Delete Spotlight-V100" (step 6 in the indexing troubleshooting)? This usually resolves any of these deeper indexing issues. Cheers, Vero steve2234 1 Link to comment
steve2234
thanks Deleting Spotlight-V100 seems to have done it Link to comment
