Vero
Just wondering if there is a best practice regarding storing or setting user login information that might be used for other services? I would recommend using 1Password for your login details, then use Alfred's 1Password bookmarks integration to quickly search for your bookmarks and launch them in your browser This ensures your login details are completely safe. ckueda
Thanks for the response! I was really looking for a recommendation on a way to store login and password info for use in a workflow. Right now I have it hardcoded in the script, which I imagine is the only way to do it at this point? Link to comment
bmazin
I would use OS X keychain to store your login information and use the the command "security" to pull the info from it. http://developer.apple.com/library/mac/#documentation/Darwin/Reference/ManPages/man1/security.1.html Edited July 23, 2013 by bmazin Link to comment
ckueda
Thanks! I'll look into that as well. I'm a novice programmer so that might be a bit difficult for me but thanks for the help. Link to comment
