itsmaxlim
Hi Last two updates I see sowing down the serach. It is waiting around 3-10 seconds before showing result. (I use moderm mac with SSD) I can temprory fix the issue by pressing "clean Knowledge" . It taks around a 1-2 weeks active usage to slow down the search. Thank you. Link to comment
Tyler Eich
Issues like these are nearly always an indexing problem, even on modern SSDs. Have you tried reindexing your Mac recently? This option is found under Alfred Preferences > Advanced > Files / Apps > Rebuild OS X Metadata. I prefer to use the "Delete /.Spotlight-V100" option, which will result in a complete reconstruction of the OS X file index and has a higher chance of solving speed issues. This is not a bug with Alfred. It's an issue out of Alfred's control (since Alfred depends on OS X's metadata index). Edited May 9, 2014 by Tyler Eich Link to comment
Andrew
Hi Last two updates I see sowing down the serach. Thank you. Tyler's answer is spot on for this... Alfred shows results the instant they are given to him from OS X, so reindexing your OS X metadata will fix this [moving to help sub-forum] Link to comment
