AHaghgoo
I'm just wondering if it's in the works to be able to use Alfred Remote outside of being connected on the same LAN? Thanks for the consideration! Link to comment

Thanks for the consideration! You can setup Alfred Remote to connect directly to an IP (the "Direct" option when adding a new Alfred)... if you have port forwarding setup on your router, connecting to Alfred from outside your LAN is possible Subject22 1 Link to comment
heldausberlin
It works fine over direct connection (IP + port). I just did it via VPN. Link to comment

daniele_1982
Hi, what is the configuration for use Alfred outside the LAN connection? I tried to configure the port forwarding inside the router, but when I try to connect ALfred for iOS disconnects itself immediately... Edited January 28, 2015 by daniele_1982 Link to comment
DJay
Hey, I try to use noip.com for this with DNS Host (A). Don't know if this is right? And what port do I use? Thanks in advance. Edited February 22, 2015 by DJay Link to comment
