himalayanrider
I am using Alfred 2.8.2 (425) on Mac OS X 10.11.2 (El Capitan). Probably at least since updating to El Capitan, Aflred has not been loading automatically at startup or login. I have other programs like Alfred that only reside in the menu bar, such as Fantastical, Avira, and Toggl. Of these, Fantastical and Avira load automatically, but Fantastical doesn't. So while this isn't a bug that is exclusive to Alfred, or may not be a bug at all, what is different about Avira and Toggl that they load fine and Alfred and Fantastical don't? vitor
So while this isn't a bug that is exclusive to Alfred It’s not an Alfred (or Fantastical) bug at all. It’s way more likely the issue is in your machine/setup than on multiple unrelated apps. There are different ways for apps to open at startup, and I have no idea which Avira and Toggl use. however, Avira’s an anti-virus and uses a pkg installer, which means it can run with enhanced privileges. I wouldn’t put past it that Avira might at least share part of the blame, but lets not jump into conclusions. Go to System Preferences → Users & Groups → Login Items. Please take and post a screenshot of what you see there.
himalayanrider
Okay, thanks. Sorry I'm such a newb, but I don't see how to get the screenshot inserted into this conversation. I tried copying and pasting to My Media, but I don't see where to go from there. I also tried just copying and pasting and that only pasted the file's document path. I checked to see if there was some 'help' on the website that would explain how to do this but couldn't find any.

Gray
I've got same problem even after I checked the autoload box. Edited December 23, 2015 by Gray
vitor
Yep, there’s your problem. Remove that Alfred from there. Press the + further down and add both Alfred and Fantastical. Edited December 23, 2015 by Vítor
