tjluoma
Alfred does not always seem to notice when I install new apps in /Applications/ I have tried typing the full name of the app into Alfred's search box, but it doesn't appear. Restarting Alfred did not help. Any ideas on what else to try? /Applications/Alfred 4.app: CFBundleShortVersionString: 4.0.5 CFBundleVersion: 1118 on macOS 10.14.6 Link to comment
deanishe
Type "reload" into Alfred to refresh its cache of applications. Link to comment
Vero
@tjluoma Could you let me know which apps aren't found and where are they located? Can Spotlight find them at the point where you search for them? If you download the Metadata Tool and drag an app to it, what's the output? https://cachefly.alfredapp.com/tools/AlfredMetadataTool_v1.1.zip Cheers, Vero Link to comment
tjluoma
Of course it hasn't done it again after I complained about it. This was after a fresh install, so I'm wondering if it was related to Spotlight caches being built. Link to comment
