Same error that others are experiencing due to a breaking internal api change on Notions side.
I haven't had a chance to test the following suggestion and I'll update the workflow at the weekend. 
For anyone wanting to get the workflow working in the meantime they can search for their notion.py file, stored within Alfred's workflow directory, and make the following change: 

In notion.py, change line 68 with
query["sort"] = {"field":"relevance"}

Need help with workflow!

I'm don't really know anything about codes or any other stuff, and I've been having trouble with this workflow. The troubleshoot would return the result "308: [SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed: unable to get local issuer certificate", and I tried to solve this with the solution presented in the github page. But my terminal has been outputting "sudo: /Applications/Python 3.9/Install Certificates.command: command not found", I've checked that my python version is 3.9.6, and I don't know where to go from there.

Also, I could not run the command "brew install cairo", it tells me to input "brew install --build-from-source cairo", then after that "brew install --build-from-source python@3.10" which also doesn't work. Could anyone help me? Should I download a previous version of python?

This has been fixed in the latest release, and was caused by a breaking change on Notion's side. 

 

To update, please open any page in the notion alfred workflow as you would normally, or go to the corresponding release page for your Alfred version:

To be honest I don't fully understand where this error comes from, and how its evolved over different mac versions. Perhaps someone on this forum with more expertise with this could assist.

Thx alot, I still haven't managed to wrap my head around all the info presented in the link, but thx very much anyway. Would it be any other issue other than the certificate issue, for example would an incorrect cookie variable trigger the same bug?

Hi! Thanks for the fix - I updated my workflow, updated the configuration and it worked... For 1 minute. I'm back at "Payload object has no attribute pages. I can update the cookie and space_id to make the workflow work again for a minute or so. 

 

Any ideas what might be causing this?

Exactly - Whenever I update the cookie it works for a couple of searches. I'm getting the cookie with Chrome. Not sure what else I can do to make it work..

Hmmm, we know that there is nothing in the code that could change the cookie and space id that you provide to Alfred.

Which leaves the unlikely possibility that Notion is changing your session token for some reason very frequently.

When you notice search results stop working in Alfred, and you recopy the cookie from notion, is the token_v2 value within the cookie, different?

I'm not exactly sure what has been happening to the Chrome cookie (it was different every time I looked it up), but after your message yesterday, I played around with the cookies from Chrome and Safari. So I pulled a different cookie value from Safari and since then it has been working.

So maybe something happened to the Cookies in Chrome? Because it has been working for a few months before it stopped for no visible reason.

Thank you nevertheless for looking into this! I keep my fingers crossed that it's solved now.

Yeah almost as if an extension or something in Chrome is causing the cookie to be deleted which perhaps forces Notion to re-auth which gives a new token.

The OneUpdater component isn't working correctly for me. to update the workflow I download the latest version and replace the old one.

I think Notion broke the API again - I'm getting that same error again:

I had the same issue just now, updated my cookie value with a fresh copy/paste and it now works.

Thanks, it did indeed! Weird that "notion_browser_id"changed to "notion_experiment_device_id" in the cookie - maybe Notion is trying stuff with some accounts...

Yeah indeed. They’ve been playing around in the search api area for a while by the looks of it. I’m actually half expecting some breaking changes soon but so far we’ve been lucky..
