Change Custom Action "Phone" to "Home, Work, and Mobile"

If possible, I would suggest changing the Contact: Custom Action "Phone" field to "Home, Work, and Mobile" - adding the additional selections would enable users the ability to utilize the URL Schemes to trigger a call or text message:

 

Home ‪— tel://{query}

Work ‪— tel://{query}

Mobile — sms://{query}

‬

Currently users can only either activate a Facetime call or a text via Messages. The ability to do both would be awesome 😀

It might make more sense to have modifiers for custom actions. That way you could have ↵ do tel:// and ⌘↵ do sms://.

Hi @vitor using a modifier would be cool as long as the user can define phone action:

 

↵ do tel:// and ⌘↵ do sms://

or

↵ do sms:// and ⌘↵ do tel://

yes, that’s what I mean. By having configurable modifiers, you can do it whatever way you want.

I’m neither part of Alfred’s development team nor do I have insider knowledge on that.

Alfred 4.1 will have the ability to add mod-based contact actions in this way
