Google Docs in Chrome is my go to for all not taking and word processing.  I am constantly opening new docs and spreadsheets.

Being able to open a new google doc (or spreadsheet) from Alfred would be a huge benefit to me.

There is a Chrome extension called G New Doc which attempts to do this with 2 clicks from Chrome but it no longer works.

I have searched around for Google Docs commands for Alfred but have found little.  I am sure that this would be incredible useful for many people.

Any help would be much appreciated

Thank you.

*Edit: Nope, this is now broken*

Old post I know, but if you're stumbling around for a solution this is the top search result, and might as well end with the full solution.

Found a solution shared here: http://jgpippin.com

If you're on the new Drive, you'll have to edit each creation action URL. Add a 'create' after the backslash on the end of each url.

The URL is dead. Can you please share a solution?

Hi, I'm hoping that there's an update or maybe even some help someone could offer to complicate this: I'd like to create a google doc with a choice of which folder to save it in on my google drive. And I'm hoping to do the same for a google sheet.

I tried a workflow using a keyword trigger and the link from the conversation above:  http://docs.google.com/document/create?hl=en but it puts my into a new file and then I have to type the name and move the folder, which is really clunky on Google Drive.

Thanks for any advice!
