Bug in "Edit Notes"

I'm experiencing a bug about 85% to 100% of the time when I attempt to right click on an item in a workflow and click Edit Notes.

 

Basically, I'll type something into the Notes box, and often it simply won't do anything after I click the Save button. A note doesn't get created. Even if I try it again and again.

 

There are times when only restarting Alfred will help. But sometimes even then I've got to attempt to create a note multiple times.

 

This is a newer issue, possibly only since the latest version or two of Alfred.

 

* Alfred version: Alfred 5.0.6

* macOS version: Ventura 13.1. This is a newer MacBook Pro M1 (2021)

@AuthorsAssembler Could you please let me know whether you’re currently syncing your preferences? And if you are, which service you’re using? 
 

This may provide more insight into why you’re seeing that behaviour.

I'm not sure. Do you mean where are my preference located? If so, they reside in Dropbox.

In that case you might try the solution recommended in this post (even though the post was in response to something which, on the face of it, might appear to have been a different issue).

I've gone ahead and set my Alfred folder on Dropbox to "make available offline." I think that's what you mean? I'll report back on if that fixes the problem. Thanks!
