yinan
Hi, I am using system-settings workflow to search for preference panes, so I would like to hide preference panes in the default search results. Here is my settings, I have removed the /System/Library/Prefpanes/ in spotlight index But still, .prefPane files show up unless I uncheck the Preferences. But I do want to keep the Preferences checked though, because I have third-party apps that run as .prefpane Link to comment
Stephen_C
Uncheck Preferences as shown in your second screen shot. Stephen Link to comment

Is there a way of doing that? Edited June 4, 2023 by yinan Link to comment
Vero
@yinan You could uncheck the default System Preferences box and create a workflow with keywords to trigger the custom ones you'd like to add for third-party apps in a similar way to the app nicknames mentioned here: https://www.alfredapp.com/blog/tips-and-tricks/give-files-nicknames-to-find-them-faster/ Link to comment
