solved Simple Workflow not working

Hey hey,

I created this simple workflow that I want triggered when I type 'bye'

1. Quit all apps

2. Eject physical media

3. For the laptop to sleep

 

Everything happens but the laptop doesn't sleep

 

Any help?

If you use the debugger when you run your workflow you will probably see the problem in the output.

It doesn't show anything

If the debugger is open and you run the workflow you should see something even if the workflow executes without a problem. Indeed, as soon as you open the debugger you should see, in the debug window, the time plus Logging Started….

You have to untick the box that says “selected objects”.

It's not selected.

 

FYI the command 'sleep' works, just not here.

It was selected in the previous screenshot. Now that it’s unticked, run the workflow, as instructed by @Stephen_C.

Nothing happens. I don't know what to do.

Please share a video of your steps, with the debugger open. You can record your screen with built-in macOS tools.

You have to run the workflow. Open Alfred (the main view, not Alfred Preferences), type your keyword (bye) and press ↩. Make sure you add a Title to that Keyword, or you won’t see it.

Looks like it's working now ... Don't know why... Didn't change a thing.
