svenax
Alfred does not currently find applications that are symlinked into the Applications folder. Please make it do that. Building applications with Homebrew will create such symlinks.
Vero
Alfred does not currently find applications that are symlinked into the Applications folder. Please make it do that. Building applications with Homebrew will create such symlinks. If you just add /usr/local/Cellar/ to Alfred's search path, then this is recursive. Alfred doesn't support public.symlink as OS X's metadata server has very limited support for this, making searches very inefficient. If Alfred ever takes on the job of indexing himself, then we'll take into account symlinks.

vitor
Closing as solved. This has been fixed for over a year, when Alfred added homebrew and homebrew-cask’s directories to the default search scope.
