YouTube to VLC

Searches YouTube and displays the results inline. Selecting any of the results will play the YouTube video in VLC.

Usage: type "yt" followed by your search query. 

Example: "yt black ops"

It looks like you accidentally added // to the video URL. Did you try modifying the workflow at all?

No, I didn't. It's original workflow without changes from my side. Here is a screenshot from VLC player:

Very nice indeed. I had no idea you could play YT videos in VLC.

 

FWIW, you should select the "Double Quotes" and "Backslashes" escaping options in your Script Filters or things will break if someone enters " or \ in a query.

I have two Script FIlters and I turned on "Double Quotes" and "Backslashes" inside:

but nevertheless I have errors from VLC:

Wow, great ) updating has helped. I had v2.1.2 and updated to 2.1.4 and that helped. No errors. Magic. Thank you a lot.

Yeah I didn't know VLC could do that either until I found a workflow that plays Twitch Streams in VLC as well, then it got me digging.
