Alfred preferences are activating discreet GPU

I'm on OS X El Capitan 10.11.5 (15F34). Every time I open up Alfred 3's preference pane, it activates my discreet GPU. This isn't desirable while on battery - is there a reason for Alfred to do this?

If you don't visit the Appearance tab in Alfred, it won't switch. Also, this is only for the separate preferences app, not for Alfred itself, so as soon as you close the preferences, it will switch back to internal GPU.
