  1. Thanks Alfred's Mum! Is it possible to preset a filter based on a predefined tag value? Something like this: My goal is to search by name, but only within files with a specific tag (as opposed to files within a specific folder which I can set in the search scope). Thanks!! Giovanni
  2. Hi, Is it possible in a workflow to limit the search scope to files with a certain tag? Thanks! Giovanni
  3. Thank you for getting back to me! I totally missed your reply. I solved this by modifying the great AreaCode workflow (https://github.com/dklem/Alfred2-AreaCode). My table is in a text file and the two columns are separated by ':'. Looking for a key will return a list of matching keys, and upon enter the value is copied to clipboard. Very handy! Thanks Giovanni
  4. Hi all, My google drive files (.gdoc, .gsheet etc.) show up in my search results without the associated icons (which is visible in Finder). Does anybody know how to fix that? Thanks! Giovanni
  5. Hi, This is basic but I don't seem to find it. I must be using the wrong search terms! I have a table with 2 columns: name->value and I would like to build a workflow where the user enters the name and the workflow looks up the possible values. for example: for a table like this: 1 burrito -> mexican 2 burrata->italian 3 taco->mexican if the user enters **Keyword** bur, the workflow will show the top 2 values, and upon enter on the first one, will copy "mexican" to the clipboard. Can you guys point me to a workflow that does that or something similar? Sorry if this is too trivial. Thanks!! Giovanni
  6. awesome, thanks. I realized I had 5.1
  7. thanks Carlos, perhaps there is a new version of the workflow? this below is what I see thanks giovanni
  8. Hi Spacecadet9, This worked for me: 1) added ./Library/CoreData/com.evernote.Evernote to Alfred's search scope (although it is possible that its /ENNote subfolder is the only thing you need) 2) added a *.ennote file (you can find them in the /ENNote subfolder) to the user-defined file types. This also provides a better preview (pressing shift) as opposed to the Evernote workflow, however it could be better... The only minor annoyance is that the result subtitle shows a very long path, but I guess it cannot be avoided. Hope this helps giovanni
  9. Hi, What do Alfred power users use as their favorite ToDo management app? I have been using Toodledo, which is great but I don't see too much integration with Alfred, and I would be willing to switch. I could only find a workflow for RTM (beta) and I was curious how people manage todos with Alfred. Thanks! Giovanni
  10. Hi all, I often track numeric values (e.g. weight, hours worked), or strings (e.g. food items etc), in a spreadsheet or Evernote, often multiple times a day. It would be great to use alfred to quickly do that. A great workflow would have a [keyword] [value] syntax, so that a [value] (plus maybe a timestamp) would be appended to a google spreadsheet (or Evernote note) specified by [keyword]. For example, entering "hours 5" in Alfred would result in appending the value 5 and corresponding timestamp to a google spreadsheet named "Hours Worked". Has anybody thought of something like that? Thanks! Giovanni
  11. Tyler, This is awesome, exactly what I had in mind. Thank you so much! Giovanni
  12. Hi all, When I save something from a browser or other application, I use Alfred to identify the target folder (or a file to replace), and then I drag and drop it from Alfred into the "Save as" window, so that it goes quickly to the target folder. Has anybody made a workflow to avoid the drag-and-drop part? In other words something that, if there is a "save as" window open, upon selection of a target folder in Alfred, will go to that folder in the 'save as' window. Thanks! giovanni
