How to calculate new print date

Hey ya'll,

 

This may be a silly ask but I'm new to Alfred so I figured I'd start here!

 

Can anyone tell me how to calculate a new date ie 16 days from today's date?

 

I tried using a snippet that looked similar to this: 

{date}+16

and it doesn't seem to work out.

 

Any tips?

Hi @roguetash - Welcome to the forum!

 

Date arithmetics is coming to snippets in the next release  I can't say exactly when this will happen, but if you're interested in having a play, I'd suggest switching to pre-releases in the Update tab, and looking out for the next updates. Details will be in the change log, and documentation will go live once the feature goes to general release.

Date Calculator is an excellent workflow which can do this and much more.

It'd be a bit quicker for your particular case, as it only calculates relative to the current date (you only need to enter date 16d). It's main focus is on providing differently-formatted dates, and it can't do the clever calculations that MuppetGate's workflow can.
