Kikker
I am trying to create a workflow for Tot but are not having luck with it. Trying to make it search Tot notes and open the app for the result. Any sugestions? Link to comment
Stephen_C
I use, and very much like, Tot. However, I suspect you won't have much luck with an Alfred workflow. Tot does not appear to be scriptable and even if it were you'd have to find some way of interrogating whatever format it saves its data in on iCloud. My own use of Tot is for short, ephemeral items (like shopping lists, for example)—where it excels with its rapid sycnchronisation between devices. I'm not sure that it's really designed for storing lots of information that I (speaking purely for myself) would need to search. I appreciate your use may be different—but if it is perhaps, thinking laterally, it might be better to store the information in a different app. Stephen Link to comment
vitor
Tot is scriptable via its URL handler, which can open specific dots and replace or return content. Note that script is by Tot’s author. It doesn’t allow you what you want—search inside all notes to open a specific one—but you could make it work by returning the contents of every dot (they are limited, after all) then searching that yourself. It will require some scripting. Link to comment
