Easily create inline code in forum postings

Recommended Posts

This is not to detract from @vitor's magnificent, monolithic Markdown Transform workflow (and thanks to him for the idea that lead to creation of this workflow). However, when using that to create simulated inline code in forum posts I found it often quite slow and sometimes a little reluctant to work at all.

I've thus created a very simple workflow that allows you to select, by a Universal Action, the text in a new forum post that you want to appear as inline code and simply convert it.

To show what I mean here's what happens when you select some relevant text and run the workflow:

When you preview that text (using the icon at the right-hand end of the toolbar) you will see this:

There are no dependencies for this workflow and you can download it from Github.
