Application and File shortcut - with hide feature (Reintroduced)

I miss the Application and File shortcut from Alfred 1, or more precisely I miss the "Hide the application if already visible" feature.

I know this can be done in Applescript, but it's not trivial to get right (so many users would not be able to implement this).

This is going to make its way into v2 final, I just haven't gotten around to it yet

Theres a workflow in the alfpt repository that does just that! Its called 'toggle app visibility'.

Search these forums for alfpt for info on how to install.

Hopefully this will keep you going until Andrew implements a native solution.

Thanks, I have written my own applescript to do the same, but I like the native solution from Alfred 1

Just joined the forums to add my request for this! (the 'hide if already being shown' option). Glad to see it will be coming back - and thank you Tom for the existing work flow work-around!)

Will this be implemented soon? It's not essential functionality, but my muscle memory has gotten quite used to it.

I believe this has already been added. Under 'Workflows', the 'Actions > Launch Files / Apps' object has an option to toggle app visibility.
