Number of Licences

(1) I have: 2 iMacs, 1 MacBook Pro, and 1 MacBook Air.

How many licences do I need to purchase to cover 4, 3, or 2 of these?

 

(2) Where can I find a simple description of the different types of licences?

My search failed - I presume because I used the noun spelling «licence» instead of the verb form «license»

It’s my understanding both are valid in both contexts, with the difference being the country of origin (like “colour” and “color”). I’m guessing “license” was chosen for being the US spelling, presumably more common.

Might be deliberate. In Alfred, "colour" is always spelt with a U, though.

As @deanishe suggested, this is intentional; While we use British English in most documentation/preferences, we made an exception for "license". Having said that, I've now added "licence" to the metadata for that page so that it's found by either spelling options
