How can I use "Recent Documents" (Features > Actions > Default actions)?

I discovered there was a "Recent Documents" action in the “Default Actions" in Actions (Features).

 

I wanted to test it but it looks like there no "Recent Documents" in my actions...

Your title is misleading. [How To] should be used when you’re teaching how to do something, not when asking for help (this is the help forum, the default is asking for assistance).

Just to make sure, have you tried scrolling the Default Actions list? How many do you have in total? There should be 15, with 11 visible at a time; Recent Documents… should be the top one.

@Vitor Sorry for the misleading tittle. Unfortunately, I can't edit it. 

 

In Alfred preferences, I have 15 actions. All checked.

So I think I "have" this action. But I can't use. 

What am I suppose to do to use it? Select a folder via the file selection keyboard shortcut? Or do something from the Alfred bar?

When editing the top post, pick Use Full Editor (next to Save Changes), and you’ll be able to change the title.

No. You’re supposed to select an app, and then pick the option. You can see details of the action on the blog.

(Yesterday, before trying to make this action work, I tried to create a keyboard shortcut to open "Recent Documents" in Skim. Failed. No need for a keyboard shortcut now   ).

The problem is I didn't know what I really was looking for...

Today, for Alfred2 v2.6 (374), trying to access 'Recent Documents', all I get from pressing right arrow is opening of /Applications/<appname>/Contents folder and access to all the application code, pfile etc. instead of recent files.

 

In addition to the apps I was trying to view recent files, I tried this with your examples (Pages and Preview). Same Same.
