Sum-up a series of numbers separated by spaces.

For some keyboard layouts is combersome to type + sign after entering a number. Sum-Up uses spaces instead which can be typed easier.

I implemented item counter.

 

Not sure for the thousands separator because I need to use that number for further calculation and don't like to have the separators in the number. 

Discard entries which aren't numbers would be a trade off: In case a term contains a string and removing the string would mean to loose the ability to enter e.g sqrt(2). Therefore I recommend to avoid adding senseless strings to the function but still have the ability to enter other math functions in a number series. Make sense?

Update to version 1.2:

Added the ability to press CMD to get the result formatted like 1'000.00

I know this is incredibly old — but is there any chance for an updated link to this? 

 

I'm looking for a workflow that I can use as a universal action to highlight a group of cells in either Excel or Google Sheets and quickly get a total sum to copy/paste to clipboard. This sounds like it would work, but looks like the link was removed at some point?

Hm —  I don't see that listed as an option (see below). Perhaps you have a workflow titled 'Basic Universal Actions (Text & URL)' that is supplying that function?

Yeah you are right it is the "Basic Universal Action (Text&URL) workflow.

Seems to be a @pseudometa workflow. But I’m not finding the GitHub repo.

Me either...I contacted the developer, and he said I discontinued the Workflow. He was also not able to find it anymore  Therefore I filled that gap.

Yeah I have a bunch of smaller utility workflows, which I change very frequently...

 

As soon as the Alfred Gallery is out of Early Access, I'll add it with a bunch of others to the Gallery (individually, they are not worth their own github repo)
